Face Lift

A face lift procedure is performed to repair the sagging, drooping, and/or wrinkled facial and neck skin of the patient. A face lift can also repair some of the visible damage to skin and can restore a younger look for the individual. During the procedure extra fat is removed, muscles are tightened, and skin is rewrapped around the face and neck to improve sagging facial skin, jowls, and loose neck skin. Most of the surgical scars from the procedure are hidden in the hair line or the natural lines of the face and will fade over months. Face lifts are commonly combined with eye surgery and laser skin resurfacing to achieve the results the patient is seeking.
